Why does he tiptoe around me? Minutes ago he was hugging me so tight I couldn’t breathe. Now he is smiling at Willow like she invented ice-cream.
Yesterday, he danced with me in the empty gymnasium, laughing at my jokes. Today, he is following Buffy like an eager puppy.
Last week, he brought me chocolate; this morning he had me give him lunch money, so he could share freakin’ cookies with his girls…
Last month, we weren’t yet together, and a different type of dance was at play; it has an old name that I wish I could forget: courtship.

Springtime Ficlets:
The purpose of this contest is to write 10 ficlets (each of 50 to 500 words) in one month. The contest starts on March 1st and end on March 31st, 2008. You can post your ficlet as you finish them or wait and post them all at the same time. Out of the ten required ficlets, two to five can be crossovers but all must be related to the Whedonverse somehow.
