Funny because I discovered Firefly first and loved the show before seeing one scene! I loved the concept from the description of new shows on USA Today and Entertainment Weekly and saw the first episode before discovering re-runs of Angel Season 3 and the new Angels of Season4...
I might be the only Joss fan that came through Firefly, and I sure am glad I discovered the guy!
The only actor I recognized at the time was Adam Baldwin from his sting on the X-Files but I really love the idea. And it actually turned out to be a nice and funny show to enjoy.
I thought the movie was a nice way to reassert his creativity and his worth in Hollywood. I was at Comic-Con when he was selling the movie and what a joy to meet all the actors and see how dedicated fans were.
